The Reputation System
As you may have noticed, we've added a very cool reputation system to the forums. Now you can gain rep many ways, and give rep to others that you think deserve it... but remember that if you give a rep point to someone it will be taken from your own rep, so only give when it is truly deserved. There are a few others ways to gain rep, and maybe even more in the future. For now, here are the current ways that you can add to your rep score...
How you can gain rep:
- Posting: The more you post the more rep you get, but spam and we'll ban you.
- Being on the boards longer: You gain rep automatically over time (slowly).
- Being cool: Remember anyone can give you rep at any time, so be cool.
- Winning awards: You automatically get +100 rep for each award you win.
- TIC membership: You get a +1000 rep bonus for being accepted into TIC.
- Being a good poster: Make good posts, if we notice we'll reward you with rep points.
NOTE: Anyone can take some of your rep away if you act like an ass, so don't and you won't lose rep. Also, NEVER take away rep from someone for no reason... we will all be able to view who gives/takes rep so you'll get caught if you try to be a dick. |
